Sheridan Farms Townhouse
Welcome. This is a furnished brick townhouse in West Springfield, available from June 1 through August 31, 2026. Three bedrooms on the top floor with two full bathrooms on that level, plus a half bath off the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a brand-new dishwasher, and the washer and dryer sit upstairs in the hallway between the bedrooms.
Two balconies. One opens off the master bedroom, the other off the dining and kitchen area, and a fenced backyard with a patio sits below, backing onto woods with a small stream just past the fence. The lower level is a separate finished basement with its own private rear entrance, available to include with your rental if you'd like the extra space. The street is a quiet residential cul-de-sac in Fairfax County.
Exterior
The townhouse sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, brick on three sides with a small front lawn and a mailbox by the walkway. The back of the building faces a wooded slope, so even though you're close to everything, the view from inside is mostly trees. Two designated parking spots come with the home, right out front.
Entry
The front door opens into a small foyer, with a runner rug down the middle and a wall mirror for last-minute checks before heading out. A quiet, welcoming start to the rest of the house.
Living Room
The living room is the first space you walk into. Wood-look floors, a leather couch, and good light from the front windows. A couple of prayer rugs are tucked in the corner by the window if you'd like to use them.
Kitchen, Dining, and Workspace
Up a half flight from the living room sits the heart of the home, with the kitchen, dining area, and a workspace all open to each other. The kitchen has full-size appliances and a brand-new dishwasher we just installed. Gray cabinets, a peninsula with seating for two, and stocked with pots, pans, spoons, and silverware so you don't have to bring much.
The dining table folds down into a coffee table when you'd rather a more relaxed setup, and the TV is mobile, so you can wheel it into the living room when you'd like. The workspace has three desks. Two of them come with their own computers that stay with the house, and the third, the standing desk on the right, is open for plugging in your laptop. The second balcony opens out from this level too, and a half bath sits just around the corner. From here, another flight of stairs heads up to the bedroom level.
Master Bedroom
The master sits on the top floor with a queen bed and sliding glass doors that open onto a private balcony. The ensuite bathroom has a standing shower, heated floors, and a walk-in closet just off it, which makes mornings noticeably nicer.
Second Bedroom
A single bed, a small desk, and a closet for clothes and storage. Works well for a child, a guest, or anyone who'd like a quiet room to themselves.
Third Bedroom
Another single bedroom with a small desk and a closet. A book and a set of prayer beads sit on a shelf in this room. They've been there a while and the space feels a little warmer with them.
Laundry
The washer and dryer sit in a hallway closet upstairs, right between the master bedroom and the two smaller bedrooms. A small thing, but it means you can fold a load straight onto the bed without dragging laundry up and down the stairs.
Bathrooms
Four bathrooms across the house: two on the top floor with the bedrooms, a half bath on the main kitchen and dining level, and a full bath in the lower level.
Master Bathroom (Top Floor)
Inside the master bedroom. A long vanity, a glass-door standing shower, heated floors, and a walk-in closet just off it.
Hallway Bathroom (Top Floor)
The second full bath, sitting between the second and third bedrooms. Standard tub and shower combo.
Half Bath (Main Level)
Off the kitchen and dining area. Easy to reach without trekking upstairs.
Lower Level Bathroom
A full bath in the basement, included if you're taking the whole house or renting the lower level on its own.
Lower Level and Fourth Bedroom
The lower level is a finished basement with its own private entrance from the back of the house. Inside there's a living area with a stone fireplace, a fourth bedroom, and a full bathroom, with sliding doors that open directly onto the backyard.
Available to include with your rental if you'd like the extra space.
Balcony and Backyard
Two balconies. The master bedroom opens onto a small private one, and a second sits off the dining area. Both look out over a fenced yard and the woods behind the house.
The yard has a patio for sitting out in the warmer months. The land drops into trees just past the fence, with a small stream running through the woods that you can hear on quiet mornings. A trail runs nearby for a walk or a jog when you want to stretch your legs.
The Area
The townhouse is in a quiet pocket of Fairfax County with easy access to most of Northern Virginia. Inova Fairfax Hospital is about ten minutes away, Fort Belvoir is around eight, and the Franconia-Springfield Metro station is roughly four miles out. Springfield Town Center is three minutes for groceries, errands, or a quick meal, and the Pentagon and downtown DC come in around twenty-five to thirty minutes depending on traffic.
For weekly shopping, Wegmans, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, H Mart, Patel Brothers, and Costco are all within about fifteen minutes, and there are plenty of restaurants close by, from quick coffee stops to sit-down dinners. If you like being outside, Burke Lake Park and Lake Accotink are both nearby for walking, paddling, or an unhurried afternoon away from screens.
